For most people, good oral health is not hard if they keep at it. A daily routine of brushing, flossing and maintaining a healthy diet will – most of the time – ensure a healthy mouth. Oh, using a water pic is a fun way to make it even better.
The American Dental Association puts it succinctly:
You can practice good oral hygiene by always brushing your teeth twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between your teeth once a day with floss or another interdental cleaner, replacing your toothbrush every three or four months and by eating a balanced diet and limiting between-meal snacks.
